An English longcase clock, made in the first years of XIX Century.
It's the typical "grandfather clock", with 8-day weight driven movement and one-second pendulum. The clock strikes the hours on a large bell, has datework, subsidiary seconds' dial and lunar phase indication. The dial is hand-painted and still in excellent conditions. Both case and movement are sympathetically restored.

The name of the maker is clearly visible. The door glass is much probably original, since it shows many tiny imperfections, not present in today's glass.
