In this page you can see the enjoin Alberto Gorla and his attorney sent to us, after the "criminal" behaviour we would have had toward him, as a restorer of the St. Mark's Clock.
Needless to say that we neither offended Mr. Gorla nor we wanted to, and this can be clearly seen on our website, nonetheless they interpreted our article this way.
To tell the truth, we expected a technical-historically detailed answer, as came from Mr. Brusa who was much more correct under this point of view.
Our web-server space is always available to host horological concepts and opinions, but this time a clockmaker addressed his efforts to a forced solution of a problem, strongly inviting us to deny our own words, which we tried to make as polite as possible and that still have not found a satisfying reply.

We think the case is self-explaining, but we present the whole letter sent to us by Gorla and his attorney (in Italian only, we will translate it as soon as possible). They also sent a copy to Alberto Peratoner, the last clock temperatore (custodian).

Finally, we have to remember to the authors of the letter that the official review of the British Horological Institute is the Horological Journal, not the "BritisCh Horological Journal", as they wrote.
