The German firm A. Lange & Söhne actually makes the best finished movements of the entire horological world. This is one of their most well known models. Again, pictures are very large to show all the details that make of this watch a real masterpiece.

This Patek Philippe quartz movement (left) is extremely similar to a commercial grade ETA 955.412 caliber (right). May be even big brands take inspiration from others...

We faced another curious situation repairing this couple of movements from Patek Philippe (left) and Vacheron Constantin (right). They are completely different in construction, starting from the shape, but extremely similar regarding finish. It really appears as they were made by the same factory!
