How to send a watch or clock.
Prepare a packing carton with plenty of foam padding or old newspaper or similar material.
The watch or clock must not move inside the box.
It is necessary to remove the pendulum from pendulum clocks. Usually, it is not a difficult task.
Include any accessories, such as winding keys or bubble levels.
ALWAYS insure the package for full value.
For small and medium sized items, send by mail. Use Registed Mail for very valuable objects. For very large items, use a well-known and reliable carrier, such as UPS of FedEx.
Don't write anything outside the parcel that will allow understanding it contains a watch: thieves are very attracted from these items!
The estimate for repair job needs a week to be prepared. It is free. The customer will pay only shipping charges if he decides not to repair the watch or clock.
